Were you happy with them? I usually get mine from Shutterfly but I'm late this year and don't want to pay the high cost of express shipping. Wal-Mart has nice cards and offers the in store 1 hour pick-up, but I was disappointed that the y don't offer the glossy finish. Only the "Luster" finish. So, were you happy with yours?

I got mine (Disney of course!!) and was very satisfied with the quality of them!!

I've used them for birthday invatations before.. VERY CUTE! I was happy!

I was just going to ask this question about CVS (closer to my house). I will be curious to see what people say.

I've done my xmas cards at Wal-Mart a few times - always came out great! The biggest pain, though, is getting to the kiosk to place your order. I would suggest going first thing in the morning - right when they open. If there are 1 or 2 people in front of you, it can take FOREVER!

Just picked up our Disney xmas cards about 4 hours ago, plan to address them at work tonight, I ordered them on Tuesday, but didnt have time to pick them up until today, they are very cute

I am usually pleased with Walmart for my photo needs. Today I am not. They lost my stuff. They kept telling me I must be at the wrong Walmart and actually used a different Walmart for my photo needs this time.

Dh went back up there tonight with the email showing what store I used and that the stuff was ready for pick up. They still claim they made no mistake and some how we are to blame for the missing stuff.

We are to go back tomorrow and deal with them some more over this issue.

Our experience was great with WalMart. We also waited a bit too long to make cards (I'm a stamper), and since I was stressing out about this on Saturday, I suggested to my DH we take a different approach that year. We used a picture from our Disney Cruise. They were ready in about 1.25 hours. Very reasonably priced.

Although the photo that was being copied needed a photographer's release, we had that, and there were no issues getting the cards printed.

We submitted our photo online for our Christmas cards at about 4 PM on Monday and picked them up at our local store the next day due to the volume they are doing at this time of year. They are very nice!

:thumbsup2 Nooooooooooo Problem at all!

Today I went to Walmart to pick up a photo mug I ordered on line. They did not have it. I had received an email from them 2 days ago saying my order was ready to be picked up. The photo guy said it won't be in until the 18th.:headache: I am so mad....who the heck has time to go back and forth to pick something up. I should have just paid for the shipping to my home:headache:

I picked up two "test prints" from Wal-Mart's on-line photo cards to be sure my cropping looked good this afternoon. I used the luster option b/c I hate glossy. Glossy shows fingerprints and luster does not. Anyway, they are wonderful! I picked them up at the time they said they'd be done and I was v. pleased! I ordered a whole bunch more and they'll be ready for pick up tomorrow morning at 10 am. They would've been ready today but I missed the deadline time to get them in for pick up tonight. I chose the vertical white snowflake Season's Greetings b/c it really made my photos pop. You're not paying attention to a cluttered background and are focused on the photos rather than the card itself. I wouldn't hesitate to use Wal-Mart for this purpose!

Personally, I have used both and I prefer CVS...at OUR walmart they use FUJI paper and the result looks very "grainy"...I much prefer the very sharp, clean look that I get from CVS's Kodak paper....it may just be a difference in the processing equipment or supplies used, not sure:confused3 ...just my local experience.

The easiest thing is to upload them from home and you can even pay for them online and all you have to do is run to the store and pick them up....it's MUCH easier that way.

I am way too impatient to use their kiosk. :rolleyes1

I think the quality is just fine - Our WM has samples hanging of CHristmas ones & of everyday ones -

If your concerned about the quality of them then you should just go ahead & buy the balnk photo cards where you can print your own & insert the pic yourself then you know the quality.

BUT I've used WM or Sam's for a number of years & think they turn out great.

This was my first year using Walmart 1 hour for xmas cards. I ordered at night so it was actually overnight but they were ready the next morning. I was very pleased with them. I would gladly do them again next year.

I ordered mine at 7:00 on Wednesday night, and they were ready at 7:36 according to the email. I called the next morning, and they were there waiting....I paid online, so overall, very little interaction IN the store.
I was VERY pleased, and thrilled with the Disney choices :)

Very happy. Used them for the first time last week. The last few years I had used Walgreens but Wal Mart seemed to be alot cheaper. I had wanted glossy also but had to choose the luster. I thought the pics came out really good. Have no idea how to put pic on here or I would.

Mkrop-
I used CVS and my pictures turned out great -but their is one glitch I wanted to warn you about. The store only had the bigger sized cards, (something about their machine only printing that one size) but the price wasn't bad. HOWEVER -when I went to mail them, I was informed that those larger size envelopes now require 2 postage stamps rather than one....OUCH!!!

I used Walgreens for our cards and they were done yesterday in about 30 minutes! Walmart has lost too many of our prints before (when we had a film camera). Walgreens has a coupon online right now for $5 off an order of 20 photo cards, which made them 9.99. It does expire today, though! Yeah, I was running late this year, too...
