Has anyone used or tried using spacesaver bags (travel/roll kind) for bulkier things like jackets and towels? We will be in the World over Christmas and I know jackets will be a must and possible a towel or 2 for drying off children/seats. Lockers are available, but I rather keep them with us in the stroller. My thinking is that the bags would compress the "stuff" enough to ALL fit in the stroller and keep everything dry incase of rain. I've read much about packing with Ziplock type bags, but nothing on spacesavers. :confused3

I haven't used them for this purpose, but we do have space saver bags for storing the clothing our children have grown out of and all I can say is "wow"! They really do save space!

However, I'm thinking with jackets and towels, you would be using the one that you squeeze the air out (rather than using a vaccuum to suck it out) and won't get much more space than squishing them down really well.

My GF used the bag to transport her wedding gown (very poofy!!) on the flight for her Cinderella wedding in WDW. We thot it might get very wrinkled beyond steaming capabilities, but it worked like a charm. She's still proud of her success, it took no room at all.
