Has Anyone Used The Quick Service Dining Plan Yet?

I will be traveling alone and I ordered the quick service dining plan with my package. I am not they type who wants to worry about making my reservations and worrying if I will remember to go. I will be so caught up in the magic of WDW. I have never been before, so I am going to just hop around from park to park when ever I feel like it becasuse I will be alone. If anyone has tried the Quick Service dining plan, can you tell me is it really worth the money. It only costs $10 less that the regular dining plan. I don't know if it's really a deal or not. I do like the idea of not having to pull out cash evertime I want to eat. Any advice anyone?

I saw it described on the DDP part of Disney's website, and I think it sounds awesome. I was they were already offering it, I would have booked it for my Nov. trip. I don't see how you can go wrong.

First day of usage for the Quick Service Dining Plan is January 11, 2009, but it a fantasic deal for those who like counter service and snacks.

I did the math comparing the regular DDP and the QSDDP. For my family it comes out better with the QSDDP since we mostly do counter service meals rather than sit down meals (2 kids under the age of 5 ). I'm hoping to hear some good feedback from early Jan. trip reports before I go but by then it will be too late to cancel it so oh well. So if anyone is using the QSDDP in mid Jan please come back and report immediately how great it was before I go

I think it sounds good too!! We've done the regular dining twice once when tips were included & this last time-they weren't. I really liked not having to dig down in our pockets to pay for our food - I really hesitated about paying more $$ upfront not knowing much about it. We love it. But, this last time although our service was good-I really didn't like having to pay out for the tips. I guess we were spoiled by the previously paid dining!!!! Next trip-we'll do the QS plan. Still eat good food & no tips!!! (I am not stating here that the servers didn't deserve one-I just like not having to pay it when we probably wouldn't eat in those restaurants to begin with!)

I didn't know that the quick service dining is new. Well, hopefully it will turn out be a good deal. I am so excited about my first trip. Time can't go fast enough.

Finally, my Disney dreams are begining to come true. YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
