Has anyone used the online check in?

Is this something new? How do you do it and when can you?

It's fairly new. If you booked with Disney or your TA did, you can check in on-line here at 10 days out:

http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wdw/myVacation/index?id=MyVacationIndexPage

It asks you for a credit card # for any charges you might have during your stay, your arrival/departure times, room requests, etc. Should save you time as there will be a separate line at your hotel for those who have already checked in on-line.

I used online check-in before my trip. I checked in at the 10 day mark (May 23) and had already made my requests when I booked my trip. I arrived at POR on June 2 at about 3:15 and only one other family was at the online check-in counter. (There was no one at the regular check-in desk!) I was able to change the room (I didn't really want to be looking at a parking lot for a week!) Also, I had ordered water from CostCo and the cast member got it for me. I was at the counter for maybe 5 minutes, only because of the room change and water retrieval. Otherwise it would've been faster!

It wouldn't let me - it said to try back later, so on a whim I tried my parents & it let me pre-register them, but still won't let me do mine???? I have tried for 2 days now &

I am having this exact problem. I have tried for 2 days to check-in but I keep getting a message that says "try again later". Just like the PP I tried my parents and it went through without any problem.

I called this morning and they told me the system was down. After I got off the phone I tried my parents information just on a whim and that's when it went through. I just wondered if others were getting this same message.
