Has anyone used the onboard dry cleaning?

I was wondering if anyone has used the onboard dry cleaning? If so do you remember the cost?

Is it available as soon as we get on the ship?

What about the irons and steamers in the laundry room? Effecient? Is it a possibility to ever use them???

I can answer part of your Dry cleaning question.

We flew in on Friday, and wore our traveling clothes again when we boarded the ship on Sat. During our week, we sent our clothes to be dry cleaned.

We own a dry cleaners and are pretty particular about dry cleaning services. Everything came back perfect! They pressed my pants flat just as requested and everything was clean and prefectly pressed. We were highly impressed.

I don't remember the exact cost, but I remember it being very fair.

After we cruised, I made the mistake of wearing my traveling pants to a nice dinner during our stay at AKL and had to have them cleaned while at AKL. We were very disappointed.

I would note hesitate to have our clothes cleaned on the ship again! (and we never used the laundry or iron facilities on board)

We used the cleaners the day we got on the ship. When unpacking I noticed how incredible wrinkly my evening dress was and a few shirts that we had worn at the parks needed to be cleaned. We gave them to our room hostess around 4:00pm approx and had them back by 11:00am the next morning. They did a beautiful job and it was not very expensive.

My DH sent a few shirts to be cleaned. When they were delivered, he was very happy with them. And the price was not much more than we pay at home.
As for the iron, we were able to use it with no problem. No line waiting. (But we are early risers!) Have a great time!
