Has anyone used or heard of this website?

Xanga
My students had me do my own page there today and were showing me theirs. They were all pretty tame and kind of cute. It also gave me some insight to them.

Yep! I have a xanga site, but I don't use it anymore because I made a website.

It's pretty much like livejournal and other weblog sites, but I think I like it better. A bunch of my friends have xanga sites...that's kind of the cool thing to do lately I guess, lol.

Yeah, all my kids, and I mean ALL seem to have them. It's fun (mostly) reading about them.

Yes I've heard of xanga. I know some people that have xanga sites and it's fun to read their journals. Unfortunately, I know some immature people that have xanga sites. My sister is a junior in high school, her boyfriend is a sophomore, and this girl that has been after him is a freshman. My sister and this girl both know each others xanga sites. This girl is obsessive over my sister's boyfriend and is always writing about him, and mean things about my sister for all these other people to read. Of course, my sister goes right back and makes her own comments in her xanga. To me that's a little immature, but then again they are in high school.
