Have any of you used Disney's videographer? I really like what some outside vendors have done, but I am curious if Disney is better. Thanks!

Unfortunately I have heard almost uniformly negative comments about Disney Videography. Recently someone posted that Disney had switched to a new vendor, but when I started to do some research, I found they made the switch at least a year ago, and most of the bad reviews have been in the last year. :sad1:

I hope someone posts here with a good review!

i was completely happy with our video from disney - in fact i love it. everyone who sees it loves it and is impressed. They captured every moment from the wedding - we got 2 hours of video and we bought our raw footage as well.

However, if you want a more artistic approach or something really "different" disney is not the way to go. You can not choose a variety of music - just some basic songs and there is no special editing. Its your basic wedding video. Which was perfect for us - we didn't want anything fancy.

So i used them in July 2006 for video and we loved them.

keep in mind that disney is also more than double the price of other studios who will give u a lot more for half the price

I have mixed feelings about Disney Videography. we used them this past October (2007). The first video they sent us was HORRIBLE. The lighting was bad, the sound was very faint during the ceremony, the whole video was about 40 minutes long while the wedding lasted for about 7 hours!!! I hate to complain but this was totally unexceptable! So after complaining about it they switched my video from "mini montages" to "documentary style" (why they didn't ask which I wanted originally - i have no idea!). They took away a lot of the red glow that had appeared in the first video (why would they send it out that way originally if they could fix it???)
Our new video is just about 2 hours long and I'm much happier with it. I do feel like someone else might have done a better job and I'm so frustrated with the whole situation. I must say though that they were so quick to try to fix the situation.
