Hi There-

Has anyone used Avelle/Bag Borrow or Steal for wedding day jewelry? It's awfully tempting given I can rent for a week at a fraction of the cost. I'm just curious as to anyone's experience.

TIA! :goodvibes

I think it's a really great idea!

I wanted to do it, but we were going to be out of town for so long that I would have had to rent for at least 2 weeks, even if I sent the jewelry back from Disney, so it wasn't very economical.

Here is another website for you to check out. I wish I had known about them when my daughter was getting married. You can rent real jewelry for your wedding and the prices I don't think are very bad. It is www.adornbrides.com

Definitely noted about the two weeks, I'll have to look into exactly the time frame needed. Thank you! :goodvibes:

Awesome! I'm off to check it out!!

It would definitely take care of "something borrowed"! :rotfl:

I've looked at both Bag Borrow or Steal and Adorn Brides.

I have yet to hear back from Adorn about keeping it for even a week. (they ship it a few days before your wedding, you mail it back the next day) That for me would be a problem because I'd want to wear it for my bridal shoot.

I've found several necklaces on BBS that I like, but the problem is that they change out some of their stuff every season. So since my wedding is a year away what I find that I really like now may not be there next year.

Since I don't have anyone to get my "something borrowed" from this has seemed like a great option.
