Has anyone used an air mattress in a disney resort room?

Hi - we are 3 ladies travelling together that don't want to share a bed. We also are on a very tight budget. We would be buying a package for the 3 of us, and staying either value or moderate.

I'm wondering if anyone has ever tried to fit an air mattress into one of these small disney rooms? Was it awful? Did it work? Did Mousekeeping get upset? We would be paying for 3 adults, so we wouldn't be trying to pull a fast one on Disney or anything. Any ideas?

Used an Aero Bed last Easter. I requested extra linens and pillows from housekeeping they had not problems.
We were at Pop & had to move the small table but otherwise it worked fine for us.

I have done it! It was the same situation- 3 ladies and we didn't want to share. We stayed at the All Star Movies and we had to move the small table into the closet, but other than that, no problems. We brought the sheets from home and just requested extra blankets/pillows. We just leaned it up against the wall during the day. No issues at all!

Value - Air Bed. Not a problem. Move the table and chairs over to towards the TV and then have the air bed in front of the window. You can even open the door that way. Enough room for everyone to go to the bathroom and then put the air mattress up against the wall at the bathroom during the day. Simple and sweet. We did take our own sheet and pillowcase. But I'm sure you can ask for extras of those.

If the wall at the bathroom doesn't work try the wall at the closet.

To please the mods - make sure all three ladies are registered at the resort.

I've used an air bed with no problem. Brought my own linens but Mousekeeping was happy to bring us some anyway (along with extra blankets and pillows). You can move the furniture around to accomodate the air bed and in the morning can just lean it up against the wall. One day we forgot to move the air bed from off of the floor and Mousekeeping made it up anyway. :thumbsup2

This is good info! We have a 13 yo son and a 5 yo daughter. DH and I would prefer to sleep in the same bed, so we may bring an air mattress and let the kids take turns sleeping on it while the other sleeps in the other bed.

Rollaways are first come, first served so if you want to be sure to have a 3rd bed bring your own. They fit no problem. An aerobed is (much better more comfortable and sturdy than a regular blow up mattress IMHO. We camp and used to have to buy new air mattresses every year, until we bought aerobeds!

Two years back, we did a week at Wildeness Lodge, with two HS football player boys. Each had an aerobed. We propped them up in the corner in the am, and laid them on the floor at night. No fuss, no muss. Worked great !

Don't forget about the extra adult fee for the third adult in the room. Would one of you fit on the trundle bed at POR? Two double beds and one trundle bed. That person would have to be shorter than the others. Or you could try the Family Suites at the All Stars. One queen, one double sleeper sofa, one twin sleeper chair and one ottoman chair. At the Family Suites, you wouldn't have to pay the extra adult fee.

We used an air mattress at CSR. We moved the table and chairs slightly over and put it behind the table up against the wall toward the tv stand. It fit perfect. During the day we lifted it up so mousekeeping could vacuum.
