Has anyone used a "rewards" credit card for DVC purchase?

I am wondering what "category" the charge would fall into for a DVC purchase. We have signed all our paperwork for our initial purchase at AKV through Disney (yippee!) and we just need to make our final payment. We are planning to put part of it on our Disney Visa (up to the max they will give us rewards points for) and the rest on another rewards card. We get 2% back for travel. Does anyone know if this does count as a "travel" expense when charging??

I used my Southwest Visa for an add on once and got my flight credits.

We used our Disney Visa when we added on in 2006 and got the reward dollars. We split the cost between our two cards which our guide did without any trouble. If I add on again I would use my Disney Visa again.
