Has anyone tasted the Mac and Cheese they are serving at WDW restaurants?

My kids wouldn't eat it either on our last trip. When I asked at 50's PTC what was up with the Mac n' cheese, our server told us, it's low fat, that's why it tasted different. It was gross and I wouldn't let me kids suffer and eat it!LOL Fist this, then all the bread for the burgers and hot dogs were wheat, my kids were not happy with the food. I understand they want healthy options for kids, but let us choose what we give our kids and why the heck do I have to suffer and have a wheat bun!? I like to have a choice too!;)

This has me worried...as it is when I looked at the menu for all our ADR, it seems unless it's a buffet, the kids menu is very limited....usually 2 items to pick from - Pizza and this apparently gross mac-n-cheese. Now what?

Oh no! The mac-n-cheese has changed since last summer? I LIVED on that when I was pregnant last year...that was my meal at the Crystal Palace...oh man..:headache:

While Disney may have had a kids taste test, nowhere is it known that they picked the one the kids liked best. They probably took that in to account along with cost and its ability to stay fresh.

I hope everyone is complaining in writing (email) to Disney's guest communications!!

You can email wdw.guest.communications@disney.com

I read that Disney has gone "healthier" their buns, and mac and cheese - I'll bet they are using whole wheat pasta, and low fat cheese!

Bring back Stoeffers indeed!!

I am glad you posted this email address. I am drafting my letter now. I am going to email it to DG Communications and see what they say. Can't they tell that
HARDLY ANYONE IS EATING IT?????!!!!!!!!!!! :rotfl:

I am not finished either. I have a few other posts to discuss my feelings about the food changes at Disney. It is really a big turn off

My DD10 is a mac and cheese fiend and I just asked her about Disney's, and why she's quit eating it. She also said that she now hates it, and in her words, "not even ketchup would help it!"

She (and the rest of us) Loooooove the mac and cheese at Chefs de France!
