Has anyone taken Lynx route #42 to I-Drive???

Newcomer here. I was just curious if anyone here has experience taking the local bus from MCO to I-Drive. We are staying near Wet n' Wild. From what I understand it only costs $1.75 to ride Lynx. I don't mind riding public transportation instead of paying $30+ for a taxi or other car service. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I would consider another way...you're talking at least a 1.5 HOUR trip from OIA to I-Drive...with all of the stops. Plus...you will have all your luggage and stuff with you. I would pay the extra and get Mears or another company to take you to the hotel...assuming the hotel doesn't have an airport transfer.

I deffinatley agree with Metro west,you+all your luggage will be on there for quite some time.I also recommend Mears shuttles/taxis.Who are you flying with+what hotel are you staying at-are they not providing airport transfers whether they are free of for a charge?.Most hotels will provide an airport transfer or a return for a charge.x.
But to answer your question,No i have'nt done this route+i deffinatley would'nt.x.

I did this a few weeks ago for the first time and I will definitely do it again. It only took about an hour to get to I Drive. We didn't have a problem with our luggage either. I would definitely recommend it.

The Lynx website says it should take about an hour, and I'm glad it did in your case. We are planning to try it in June (we only do carry-on luggage). I'm a big fan of public transportation, though. Light rail would be even better -- like Minneapolis has from the airport.
