I was just wondering if anyone has stayes in Pierre & Vacances City Val d'Europe???It is on the Eurodisney campus. Is it regarded as a Disney hotel and are park tickets included in the price??any advice or information appreciated:cool1:

Hi orangekitten456, welcome to the DIS! :welcome:

I found this thread here, I believe there is also a review in the Hotel FAQ sticky.

If you book the hotel as a package ie. with Disney it will come with park tickets included in the price.

I stayed there last summer & thought it was great. The bus service is very limited, but you can take the train (station about 15 mins walk away). It is very handy for the shopping centre where you can get everything you need at the Auchan supermarket. There is also a great selection of restaurants there too. There is no air conditioning, so if the weather is hot it can be uncomfortable at night. If you have any specific questions, just ask away.

:goodvibes thanks karen ane everyone else for their replies. Is it that the bus does be full or it is just not that regular?I will be travelling with 2 young children so just want to be a bit prepared. im not worried about the air conditioning as we will be going in Oct. Karen did u book it through the hotel or Disney??

We are there for a week in September. Booked directly through P&V so no tickets included (cheaper for us to get annual passes and go first class on the train than pay the extra that package companies wanted for a complete deal).
It looks perfectly nice for a cheap place to lay your head....have you looked at tripadvisor.com, I always find it helpful. Read what other people say and draw your own conclusions!

Thanks,
Faye

About the buses. There is a timetable. I can't remember it exactly, but there are only 3 buses going to the parks in the morning and then the next one isn't until 4 pm. The bus starts at P&V and then picks up at Hotel L'Elysee. It can be very squashed. I had to fold up the pushchair so I could make more room for others. We stayed there at the start of July, so it wasn't high season yet. You could probably walk, but with my awful sense of direction we got lost and gave up!

The apartments were very clean, but were a bit worn. The beds were very comfortable - even the sofa beds. There is no housekeeping, but there is a vacuum cleaner provided. There is also a clothes horse, but no teatowel or washing up liquid or cloths. There were heaters on the walls but they weren't on when we were there! Towels are provided & 2 rolls of toilet roll, so if you run out you can buy more in the supermarket. There are plenty of cutlery & crockery, a fridge, a microwave, 2 ringed hob, no electric kettle, no grill, no toaster. There was always loads of hot water for showers/baths. The TV had a german cartoon channel - this did not seem to worry my daughter!

Overall I would definitely go back there, but with a new baby with us this year I wanted to be close to parks in case I have to go back to the hotel with her for naps etc or if the weather is too hot. So we decided to splash out this year!

If you want to know any more details, just let me know
