Has anyone stayed at the Days Inn (near Downtown Disney)????

The address is 12799 S Apopka Vineland Rd. I found a $36 a night rate. If your interested check expedia.com first. Expedia is has a rate for $40 a night. Then go to daysinn.com and make a reservation. Submitt online (within 24 hours of your reservation) a best rate guarantee claim form and they will give you the lesser rate minus 10% ($36).

If you are internet junkies like me, almost ALL major hotels claims have this policy. Marriott's is minus 25%. Most hotels chains are 10%. I do this all this all the time to save a dollar. Some hotels are VERY specific about booking ONLINE first then submitting a claim form online. This can not (in most cases) be handled over the phone.

We stayed at this Days Inn back in 1996 and again in 2000. We found it to be clean and comfortable although they were doing a lot of renovation work when we went in 2000.

Close enough to walk to Crossroads so easy enough to walk at night for something to eat if you want a beer with it.
