Has anyone stayed at Comfort Inn Maingate?

I had originally planned on staying at Anaheim Desert Inn & Suites, but by going through getaway I can get a much better deal (an extra day at the hotel and DLR for less!) staying at Comfort Inn Maingate. The reviews I've read on tripadvisor seem to be pretty good. I hope that's true.

It sounds like it's too far of a walk from there and we'll need to either take our van or take a shuttle. Is that right? And do you know if they have free shuttle service to DL?

If that's the one down on Harbor, we stayed there in August with 2 little kids and 2 teens. We had the kids' suite with 2 bathrooms. I really liked it. The breakfast wasn't much, but you can supplement with food in your room. It was clean and quiet. ART stopped 3 minutes away. I'd definitely stay there again.

Is ART still $3/pppd? It was that much when we stayed at the Anabella last Feb. I'm hoping my kids are still free (infant, 2 & 4)?

ART is $3 per day unlimited rides over 9. Under 9 is free.

I've stayed there twice now and love it. I do think it's too far to walk although dh and the baby did it often during our September vacation. It took them close to half an hour. We had 3 of the kid suite rooms and found them so convenient for our families.
The breakfast is basic but fine for us. They had cereal, toast, muffins, pastries and fruit. Juice and coffee too, of course.
Be sure to sign up for their frequent stay program too. It takes a while to get a free night, but every bit helps!
