Webkinz? My kids got these stuffed animals for Valentine's Day called Webkinz. Each animal has a code to use on the webkinz website. This site is so cute! It is like having a virtual pet. They have rooms like we do in VMK, can decorate them much like we do on VMK except that they can chose a room, which basically is a blank room( a square with 2 walls). They can chose the size of the room that they buy, can chose different themes with wallpaper, floors, and other theme items that match. They have awesome furniture, really cute clothes to dress your pet in, and so many choices! They have to buy food and take care of the pet. They have a daily events schedule to earn stuff and kinzcash. They have hourly events with special games, monthly contests, special rare items, and so many ways to earn kinzcash. Lots of games and stuff. There is a way to interact with friends, but they have to know your username to send friend requests. You don't walk around a world and interact like vmk, but it is adorable! Just thought I would mention it.

That is funny that you mentioned this because me and my daughter were looking for virtual pets on the internet last night and we came across the Webkinz website. Of all the websites, we thought it looked like the most fun so I told my daughter once I feel better we will go out and try and buy a pet. So I'm hoping later this week we can find one. I think there is part of me interested in seeing it too. The only thing though is now I will have to share more time on the computer with her in the evening, which means less time on VMK for me!!!

The girls I babysit for absolutely love this and fight for time on it.. I don't think 15 minutes a piece I give them and then making them and switch off is really doing the trick (well it's easier for me but I don't think the parents appreciate all the time they spend on the computer). I tried playing once and it seems hard to earn the money although it is very adorable and I have considered using my sister's webkinz code hiding in her closet to join..

Since I gave our children one each for early valentine gifts on Feb 11, ( they had the flu) We have a total of nine between the four of us!!

I went out tonight and bought my daughter a pet and she's been playing all night. What I'm wondering is when you buy more pets, do they all get to interact in the same room or are you playing each pet individually? I'm also wondering about the difference between the Lil'Kinz other than the obvious fact that they are smaller? Thanks

If you "adopt" the pets on the same/existing account the rooms will interconnect. The only difference in the Lil Kins is that they are smaller
( think Lil Kins 'kitten' verses a Webkins 'Cat' in size.)

Fly gifted me and my daughter with Webkinz and started her with another obsession. My daughter has also gifted many of her friends Webkinz so she will have her circle of friends around her. I think it is a very cute game and since you use selective phrases you cannot dictionary dance to say words that are inappropriate like what we witness daily on VMK.

I saw WebKinz stuffed animals at the Hallmark store near me and thought "hmm, wonder what that is" and the sign that read "No returns!" above them.

..that's about as far as my interest went. I don't need another internet obsession. VMK is bad enough!

i think my younger cousin has one! I m pretty sure she brought a frog to my house on christmas, for christmas she got a webkins frog and the WDW trip. Her sister asked her what she liked better and she said the webkins. I think she'll change her mind when she actually goes their though!

I am not positive how the other pets work - my kids each have one and we have not added other pets. I know nothing about the Lil'Kinz either. My kids talked me into buying another pet, so we will find out soon how they interact, but it is cool that you can build more rooms onto your "home".

You do need the pet with the code from the store and the code is the reason there are no returns. If you could return them then people would buy them for the code and return them.

All you have to do is go to the addoption center from the things to do menu.Then she will ask if you want to adopt another webkinz.Then you type in your information and there you go same for all pets even lil'kinz.There you go glad to help .
