Has anyone seen "Wicked" on Broadway?

What's the best way to get tickets for this? Every time I go to Broadway.com they tell me no seats are available. And how much are tickets? What about "premium" tickets? Is it worth the extra cost?

My girls are dying to see this, so I thought we'd plan a weekend to NYC soon, but I can't seem to crack the magic of getting good seats....

Check www.craigslist.com as well. Ton's of people getting rid of tickets just days before the show, many times at face value.

My DH just ordered tix for my Christmas present. We'll be going to a matinee in February and are looking forward to it!

I tottally agree about Rent. I was not impressed at all. It was probably my least favoriate Broadway show. Also, I know several other people who did not like Rent.

However, I still haven't met one person who did not like Wicked. I think it is for every age bracket, I will be amazed if anyone did not like this play.

I think Rent had the same dynamic as the movie the English Patient. I thought that was the worst movie I have ever seen and the hype said otherwise. I felt the same way about Rent.

The theater, by the way, is incredibly comfortable -- some of the widest seats on Broadway AFAIK.

Trina and SSB had a GREAT TIME!!! It was a fabulous show, and SO agree about the seating... SSB looked over at Trina when we sat down, and commented about just how much space we had... was fantastico. The show, even MORE fantastico!!!

I've seen it with the original cast and it was FANTASTIC !!! The 2 girls who play the witches are phenomenal !!!!
