Has anyone seen Garfield yet?

Is it worth seeing, or would we be better off going right back to Harry Potter?

All the old Garfield TV specials are coming to DVD, so I'll still get my Garfield fix.

It doesn't look appealing to me. My preference would be Harry Potter.

I have a feeling this movie is going to bomb...they should have made a CGI Odie, too.

The guy playing Jon just doesn't seem very...Jon-like to me. The way to cartoon portrays him is as a very dorky, hard to like guy. The movie he seems more like your average joe.

I saw it yesterday with my 10 y/o DS. He thought it was funny. I was pretty bored. The best thing about the movie is the (real) dog that plays Odie. He was great.

I'd go see Harry Potter again if I were you. We went over to the HP theater after Garfield was over and stayed for the second half. Much better

DS really, really wants to see Garfield. It sounds like kids enjoy it but adults not so much. I guess that I'll take him for a matinee showing.

I checked box office and Garfield did alright surprisingly.

I already told DH he's taking the kids to see Garfield! Sounds like I made the right decision.

We just got back from seeing Garfield. DS liked it, and I thought it was cute. Yes, Odie is the best in there. LOL!

Then again...we're not HP fans.

My DD (aged 4) and I went yesterday. It was cute, but certainly a kid's movie. DD liked it - which is all that matters, here, of course. Not a waste of money, in my opinion.
