Has anyone requested/or waited for the front row of Soarin?

We are going to the preview this weekend and my Mom will experience this for the first time. We really want the front row for her first time so she does not have the feet hanging down effect in front of her. Is it okay to wait or ask the attendant for the front row?

I have done this at California Adventure many times - just ask when they ask you how many people in your party.

I agree, the front row is much better.

Might be tough during preview weekend because there are a limited number of runnings of the ride, and there will be a lot of people with the same idea.
