Has anyone recently stayed at POFQ?? Were thinking about staying there next December and I'm wondering one if they have frigs now in the mods. rooms also?? And if there were alot of Pop Warner people there also?? I know they took over the value resorts I was wondering if some stay at the mods. as well...Thanks for any help you can give...Happy New year!!!

We just stayed there this month, the pop warner people were at Riverside not FQ. It is a BEAUTIFUL resort, fridges are not in all the rooms yet, but if you ask for one its no charge.The theming here is great, its very convenient no matter what building you are in you are close to everything, and the boatride to DTD is very nice, especially in the evening.

I just stayed there December 4-11. There was a fridge in my room, I was in buidling one. There were a few of the pop warner groups there, I saw at least one football group and about 3 cheerleading groups at the food court and bus stops. I think they were on the other side of the resort as I didn't see them anywhere else. Only used the pool once, so don't know if they were there.

We were at POFQ from 12/4-12/11. We were in building 7 and had a refrigerator. There were both football and Cheerleading PW teams at POFQ. I seemed like there were more cheerleading teams towards the end of our stay than at the beginning. We did not spend much time in the common areas of the resort so I can't say we were bothered much although we did have one not so polite encounter with a PW football team. We DID notice a visible Security presence especially around the pool area. I just love POFQ and hope it stays a quiet resort.

I thought the AS was suppose to be there place and I keep hearing that they are at Pop and now mods....I think they need to keep them all together in a group so if they become a bother there only bothering each other.

I don't see anything wrong with them being there ...But I've read alot of negative things about them at different resorts and some bad things about them at the parks...

We were also there in early December. The Pop Warner groups were at POFQ when we were there. Thankfully we were leaving when they were checking in. The group we saw was large and with out much supervision. It seems that the only way to avoid these types of groups is to stay deluxe. Though the mods do have less than the values.

We stayed at POFQ Dec. 9-13 and loved it. We saw a few PW cheerleading teams, shared a bus with them a couple of times, and had no problems. The ones we encountered were supervised and well behaved.
I loved the size of the resort. Everything we wanted was a short walk away. The boat ride to DTD was relaxing and the theming was right on (they even had the Cajun Night Before Christmas playing on the speaker system - it was strange, but nice, to hear that somewhere besides South Louisiana.
We didn't have a fridge in our room when we checked in but we called the front desk and they sent one up at no charge. Housekeeping was also quick to bring bed rails when we asked for them.
Our room was spacious and kept very clean.
I also thought the bus service was great. Waits were short and we caught the first bus (without having to stand) every time except for one and that was a crazy, busy day at MGM.
