Has anyone noticed any Vegas fare specials ?

I have been waiting for a good fare out of Chicago for Vegas in September and i'm not getting anything under $200, do you think there might be a Ding or a SW special for September ? right now SW shows the good fares as unavailable, is it possible for these flights to be booked up already, or do you think they will open up ?? I'm just not used to SW, I miss ATA !

Count me in to for Vegas in September. I also cant find a decent fare. I also live in the chicago burbs and everything I find is 200 or more. I have tried every airline I cant think of even the cheesy ones (hooters air). I hope what you are thinking about southwest is true but I am not sure I think it means that it is sold out.

Well, I hope something opens up, it just seems too early to be sold out, don't you think ?? Let's keep looking and post here if a deal should pop up ! I'm looking for early September

All I can tell you is to keep checking your preferred airline sites, and sites like Expedia, Travelocity, etc.

DH and I were invited to a wedding in Las Vegas in October of 2003. We weren't sure if we would be able to swing it, and I was wishfully thinking, and checking Expedia EVERY DAY. I managed to score a flight from BOS to LAS for $150 ROUND TRIP. This was with a stop/plane change each way through Minneapolis. Not a bad trip at all.

Check the SW Ding. I just seen Chicago to LV for $66 one way. I believe it was thru Sept. 12. You better hurry up thou!

I just don't understand why I can't get a flight home on September 11...... I can't change that date and every time I check those fares, they are always unavailable !! Even on the ding today, there's all sorts of dates and times available every day EXCEPT the 11th....Uuuugggggg !

Have you tried Trans Meridian Air out of Rockford? We are going next weekend. $89 each way. Easy airport, free parking. It might be worth a shot. We also have Hooters Air .
