Has anyone here used The Timeshare Store for resale purchase?

We have done 3 contracts with the Timeshare Store and they have all gone very smoothly.

We have also used the Timeshare store 3 times in the past and are hoping for our fourth purchase any day now!!! We love working with Jason and are very comfortable with him and the company. :earsgirl: :earsboy:

We have purchased 2 contracts from TSS. Jerry was our salesman on both. We also purchased 1 from Atimeshare.com Jaki's site. All of our purchases went smoothly. I would recommend both. You are making one mistake!!!! 65 points is not enough. First with closing costs it will increase the cost per point dramatically and second.... You really need more points you'll be unhappy too soon

DH and I have purchased and sold thru TSS and they are GR8!! I know for a fact that TSS charges 10 percent commission and that's fine with me. We actually listed with another company at the same time. She bragged that she charged "only 9%" but she never even called us. TSS sold our listing on the second day at the full asking price so we couldn't have been happier. The way I look at it, I'd rather pay 10% to sell my property than 9% to sit on it!

We bought from Jerry and Kristie sold the listing we were selling. Everyone from the gals who answer the phones to the salespeople are professional and fun to work with. I've recommended them to my friends as well as folks on the Disboards. No one should hesitate to give them a call. Even if they don't have exactly what you're looking for, they'll put you on a call list and contact you when new listings come in
.

I purchased from TTS not to long ago. DH and I wanted to start small to get established and to be able to pay cash. We loved Wilderness Lodge so we told them that we were looking for for a 100 point package. When it became available we were called immediately and it was ours! Now that we have closed and everything went so smoothly we are chomping at the bit to do it again. I loved the fact that I could speak to any associate at TTS and they were all knowlegable and so helpful. We will be doing it again soon and know that we will have the same great experience. Thanks to everyone there for making it possible for us to "come home".

Dear Elvis,

If you're who I think you are, I just wanted to say Thank you for the kind words. It's nice to know that The Timeshare Store's commitment to making folks feel comfortable is noticed.

And, if you're not who I think you are...Thank you for the kind words. It's nice to know that The Timeshare Store's commitment to making folks feel comfortable is noticed.

Best regards,

Pat

We used them in 1997 and they were excellent. Many great trips since them because of that great purchase.

We're working with them right now and waiting on ROFR for VWL. My DH has been the one dealing with them but he's pleased and things seem to be going smoothly.

We passed ROFR on VWL and are just waiting to close. Dealings with TSS have all been positive.

Would certainly use TSS again. When we bought in 2003, Pat Spell patiently dealt with all my questions and concerns making the process as painless as possible. :) Although, as long as ROFR exists, it will always be a nerve racking time for the buyers. :rolleyes1

When I called TTS for a small contract, I was notified that one had just been re-listed from just that morning and hadn't made it to the site yet. I guess lightning struck and I'm back in the DVC game again :)

I also sold a contract through them in the past and could not be happier with either transaction.

If they sent me a window sticker (hint-hint), I would have put it on my car or possibly in my window at the resort. ;)

Now you've really got me thinking. Where would one go to have those made up? Kinkos, a Printing Company, Hmmmmmmm!

Let's see, it would definitely need the Blue Heron!

I'm starting to visualize this now!

Webmaster Cricket I think you may be on to something!

Thanks for the great idea,
Tom

Just Google "Cling Stickers" and you will get tons of choices where you can order them online.

All I know is I better get one if you do make them ;)

Im not too impressed, I've not bought anything from them, but sent them an initial email but haven't had a peep out of them since, not even a sorry we can't help you email, not good customer service in my opinion, sorry!

Hi Lisa,

If you haven't heard from The Timeshare Store after sending an email, there is a definite problem and we apologize.

When we receive an email with a complete phone number (country and city codes can be tricky), we always call the client the same day. In the case of the UK and the difference in time, we may call the next day.

At the very minimum, clients receive a return email with an assigned sales agent. That's automatic. Some people have spam protection or a junk mail folder and because the email address that we send from is different than the one you send to, we may have responded and the response went into your junk mail.

In any case, please accept our sincere apology. If you will supply us with your email address and a complete phone number, you will be contacted today.

The Timeshare Store prides itself in our commitment to professionalism and our prompt and courteous service. We'd appreciate an opportunity to prove ourselves to you.

Best regards,
Pat

I know they had been having computer problems so you may want to call them directly.

I definately would give them a second chance as in my opinion, they are the best at what they do.

We went tot visit them on our trip to Disney and would highly recommend them.

I bought two resales through them and was very pleased. Both were completely uneventful. Who could ask for anything more?

We purchased from them in 2002 with Pat Spell as our agent and had a flawless experience. Six weeks start to finish.

This was right before ROFR became such a big "thing" with Disney, so I think the time frame has extended a bit, but they were great to work with.
