Has anyone here used The Timeshare Store for resale purchase?

We worked with Pat at TSS back in 2002 when we bought ours. It was such an easy, smooth experience. I highly recommend them!

We used them and would again in a heartbeat! Great service, great people.

Buying our FIRST DVC points through TSS could not have been easier. It made buying our home look ridiculous! We got in contact with a TSS member (Jerry), told him what we wanted and basically we found the pts ourselves checking our the website one weekend. We called TSS instantly, Jerry was out, but our name was posted and Jerry had all the info in my e-mail on Monday. We printed, signed and over-nighted wth our deposit the next day (5/6). The closing agent called on 5/27 to say we passed ROFR and we are waiting on the final contract. This purchase was the EASIEST thng we have ever done! We are chomping at the bit for more pts and haven't even closed on our first batch yet! Our favorite part, we could buy in at SMALL amounts (unlike DVC direct).

We have used them for two purchases and have one sale under contract. Very happy with their services and highly recommend them! Pat Spell has been very helpful.

We're really thinking about taking the plunge with a small initial purchase...ideally 65 points at VWL. I know they're an official sponser of this site, but I was wondering if anyone has had actual experience with them.

Thanks!

They treated us pretty good when we bought from them. I don't think you will have any regrets.

However, for such a low point purchase you may want to check buying straight from Disney. There wont be such a wait for ROFR and the price difference may not be that much.

Yes. We bought a 230 point resale with Pat Spell as our broker in 2002.

We were quite pleased at the ease and efficiency with which the transaction was handled.

I'd recommend them in a heartbeat.

I just used TSS to sell one of my contracts, and everything went very smoothly. I received my check today, and hopefully made another family very happy! I would definitely recommend TSS and if I need to buy or sell in the future, it will be with them.

Thanks TTS and to OKW's newest members - Welcome Home!!

I used the TSS last October to purchase at Old Key West. The transaction went very smoothly and no problems.

The only regret I have is that I did not talk to them sooner or buy into the property sooner. I remember looking at the product when it was $65 directly from Disney. The sooner you speak to an associate at the TSS, the better, as they will notify you when new listings come in you might be interested in.

Should the need ever arise, I would have no problem using the TSS to help sell the points.

Just a head's up, that to sell thru TTS they charge 12% commission. I used them to sell, and they were fast and efficient, but the 12% was a bit of a shock to me. Still, I would go thru them again. ;)

I purchased my BWV resale through the TSS. Pat Spell was my broker and the experience was excellent. Pat was able to give me information on how DVC works and answered my questions thoroughly. I would not hesitate to recommend TSS.

I've used Pat twice. Would definitely use them again if we were to purchase more!

If oyu go through Disney, there's a 150 point minimum. To go with osmething lower, you have to do re-sale.
