My family is going to Seaworld this upcoming week. We decided to order our tickets online before we go so we didn't have to wait in line and didn't have to worry about the money. I thought the FL resident tickets to SW & Aquatica were a good deal and purchased them (basically, it was a day at SW & a day at Aquatica for $79.) My Mom was clicking around the web-site and found for the same price a 7-day ticket for both parks. She purchased those and I called to cancel my tickets so I could purchase the ones my Mom found. While I was on the phone with the rep, she told me I couldn't purchase the other tickets, because they weren't for FL residents. She told me they were going to ask for our ID's and then not let us in the park. I thought that was weird. Why would they ask for an ID to a normal online purchased ticket? I understand if you are purchasing the FL resident tickets and need to prove residency. Why would I be forced to purchase a ticket that was definately not a deal when we found one offered to general public at a better deal?
