Has anyone had the waitlist come through for a GV???

I went to book a family vacation for October, and silly me, I didn't book it day by day- I wanted a GV and 3 studios for the week of Oct 7-15. The GV got waitlisted for the 8th, 9th, 11th and 13th--can anybody give me any hope that these dates might come through?

I can't give you hope for those specific dates...but our GV came through for the first week of December! I think that might even be a harder week than the one you are trying to get, at least among DVC members Good luck to you. Don't give up hope, ours came through only one month our for a whole week. It can happen!

Hate to ask the obvious, but..

Have you tried GVs at other resorts??

Which resort are you trying to get a GV for? You will have the best luck at OKW or SSR for a GV waitlist. I wouldn't hold my breath at BWV, since they only have a very few of them.

OKW- got a call today that the 11th and 13th came through!

So now we wait for the 8th and 9th. The MS Rep said she would put them on the waitlist both as bundled together and seperate nights, since seperate usually comes through first.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed!!!
