My wife and I are getting new Annual passes since ours expired this past March. This time however will be the first time we go since we have our new little dog. He's only 1 year old and sleeps in bed with us. I cannot leave him home, so we're taking him with us. We're going to keep him in the kennel at the Magic kingdom while we play in the parks. I have pricing but does anyone know how well they treat dogs or just how good the facility is in general?

My BIL used the one at Fort Wilderness this Sept. The place was very nice and clean, and they treat the animals well.

However, this is a first come first serve kennel. You cannot make reservations. You also need to take your dog out on walks yourself. They open 1 hour before park opens and 1 hour after park closes. You need proper papers from the vet that says the dog has all his shots or they won't accept the dog.

You're allowed to visit your dog as many times as you like as long as they're open. During the weekend we were there, they were pretty full by 10am. But that's probably due to people evac during the hurricanes.

All in all, BIL was very happy to leave his dog and cat there.

Ok. Thanks so much! If anyone else has any feedback, put it up here! My dog is like my child so you know I gotta keep him in good hands.

My parents used the kennels several times, but the hassle of getting back to walk the dog was more trouble than finding a sitter at home!
