We have the regular Baby Bjorn (well, the Active version anyway) and saw recently that there is a new Bjorn available that is specifically designed to be cool. Light, meshy fabric . . . looks nice. I was wondering if anyone has tried this yet. It seems like it might be the perfect carrier for a summer trip to WDW. (My dd will be 11 months old. She's small - weighs about 16 pounds now, will probably weigh 17-18 pounds when we go.)
If so, my questions are:
1. Did you see a big difference in how the Bjorn Air kept both the baby and the person carrying the baby cooler?
2. Do you think it might be worth it for me to get the Air even though we have the active? I don't mind spending the extra money if it's going to make a big difference in baby's and our comfort during 2 weeks in September at WDW.
3. How long do babies usually use the Bjorn? We almost never use ours . . . she loves just riding around in the stroller instead. However, I know we can't take the stroller everywhere in WDW (lines, for instance), and thought it might be nice to occasionally use a Bjorn. She wouldn't be in it for hours a day - maybe just 20-30 minutes at a time, here and there.
Thanks in advance for any help you can give!
