Has anyone ever stayed @Marriott's Palm Bch Shores?

I am thinking of making a trde to be nearer to my mom who lives in West Palm Beach. Has anyone ever stayed at this Marriott resort on Singer Island?

Never stayed there, but I am a frequent guest at Marriott properties and am quite comfortable recommending them to anyone.

I have stayed there when it first opened. We will be there in 3 weeks for a week.

Dean-I would love to hear about your experiences at Plam Beach Shores. I know the beach area is nice on Singer, a decent size.

Jim-Marriott I think is a quality timeshare company. We just closed on a "Sport" week at Marriott's Cypress Harbor. I am not sure of the ins and outs yet. I am so used to the DVC so I haven't really gotten involved with II yet.

Funny thing though, there was a delay in our closing. A few weeks ago I called II just to get some info. The Svc. Rep said I did not have my "Number" yet to book w/ II thru MVC, but that she had a number for me under "Disney Vacation Club". I thought that was odd since we don't have any contact directly w/ II through the DVC.

I actuallly got written nfo once from DVC about my II membership but in the end, it was a no go. I've also had II reps swear they can add DVC to my II membership but the outcome was still the same, no dice. I'll try to remember to post here when I return. nezy, I sent you a direct email aslo with some additonal info.
