I just contacted Chef Gordon to see if he had any availability while we are there in March. He has two days available. It will be myself and DH plus our 5 and 7 year olds who won't eat but will be with us. If we have to pay the minimum of $150, which would cover four people, I see a couple options:

1. Let our kids eat with us. While they are very well behaved and I am not worried about that, they would rather play and have pizza!

2. Has anyone ever had other guests join them that they didn't know? It would make sense to me if we could find a couple with kids. That way the kids can entertain each other and the adults can have a nice dinner. What do you think?

I know they offer a kid's night out but from what I have read, it isn't offered every night.

While I picture A Private Affair being rather romantic, there isn't a whole lot of romance taking place with a 71/2 and 5 1/2 year old nearby!!! lol
Thanks,
Lisa
