Has anyone ever received a reply from Disney?

Just curious - has anyone ever received a reply of any sort from Disney after using the "Contact Us" form on the VMK web site?

I tried using "Contact Us" three times to report having been scammed in a trade, and I never got an answer. I used the "Contact Us" form to report that the game wasn't accepting the codes on some of my VMK prize cards (there's even a category on the form for this), and I never got an answer. I even used the "Contact Us" form to let Disney know that it's possible to play the game after explicitly refusing to accept the Terms of Service agreement (just click Cancel when you see it at the end of your signup process, then log into the game anyway), and I never got a thank-you nor is the problem solved!

And, every time I reported any of these problems, the web site always told me that I would receive a response within 24 hours! And the site says that if I don't receive a response, then I should make sure my antispam software isn't blocking it and I should submit my problem again!

I don't know what to think... either they're just ignoring me because they don't feel my problems are worth their attention, or they're several MONTHS behind in their replies, 'cos there are some issues I mailed 'em about in June and haven't yet heard back on.

And now with the reports of some respectable Community Leaders having been banned without warning or explanation - I've got to wonder, who's running the place?! It worries me that there's no communication going on - they can ban anyone at any time who hasn't even broken any rules, but they won't address individual complaints? They'll ban a CL for saying "hive hippo rugs" but they won't ban BlondeKaty for scamming people over and over again?

No response. I sent in an email after my disgust with the way a friend was treated by one of the VMK staffers. At this point, I don't actually expect a reply.

I just now used Contact Us to report a code not working on a card I got from a park quest. After I submitted my report, it said:

Thanks for using the VMK Help Tool
Thank for taking the time to contact us. If you sent us a question, we will try to reply within 24 hours. Please note: if you have suggested some words for the dictionary you will not receive a reply from us.

I'll post here when I get a reply.

I contacted them because my magic mirror code wouldn't work. Never got a reply, but the mirror showed up in my inventory two days later. I don;t know how they work.

I have received a reply when using the "contact us" form. I was unable to use a code to get a magic pin and they placed the pin in my "items list" within a few days. So they are getting the emails folks!

I have twice now sent the user names of people who have scammed/attempted to scam me (I'm finding out I'm too trusting of people...)

I have heard nothing back, not even a canned message :( Have they just given up on us?

Hi ElectricLime,

I understand your frustration. I have not received a response about blondekaty either, only through the "Call for Help" button right after it happened. VMK Staff was in a private "IM" with me through that in order to investigate the issue.

I am sure they are backed up at the moment. While this does not excuse it, I'd let them work things out. This is still a relatively new arena.

Again, it is a shame something like this happened, but numbers are not permitted in the game for security reasons. It helps keep all players safe.

I hope you get a response soon. In the meantime, enjoy the fun of VMK. Do not let recent events damper your good times. :umbrella:

nada, nope, no nutuh! :confused3

And that includes Commuinty Leader stuff too! (after I filled out the quiz) Guess they dont love me.

Back when they had a "Comment on the VMK Beta" option, long after beta ended, I got a mailbox full of automated replies to each and every suggestion I'd ever sent them.

But that's about it, though. All automated.

I have received 4 responses to a very large number of "contacts" and 2 of those responses were to community leader application mail. Only the 2 community leader "contacts" were received within 24 hours. The other 2 were received at least 96 hours after the initial "contact".

Back when the PDF links weren't working I sent in a report. Like a month later, I got a real E mail from them. They couldn't give me the link again, but they did add 500 credits to my account :)

i have contacted them in many ways a lot of times and had no replies whatsoever. they are unconcerned obviously. i cannot take mickey pictures. can anyone tell me what happens when you get 50 mickeys? because 1000 credits have appeared from no-where is this because they want to shut me up or because they decided that i should have the reward for getting 50 or do you get 1000 free credits if you reach 1000 as i have.. i am getting off the point.... i have corresponded with them in 4 diffrent ways and all 4 have told me that it is not thier business and i should contact blardy blah instead who then go on to tell me the same thing. disney is dark disney is faceless disney is worrying disney is sinister.

Well I dont know if I did the right thing or not... but I reapplied for Community Leader (after receiveing the question email weeks ago and no response). AND.... I resent the email with the answers to the quiz again, kinda sprucing up my answers ;) Lets see if I get a response from either one now :hourglass :listen:

I got an automated reponse today for my feedback on requesting Fly be reinstated from yesterday.

I have sent them message three times now. Once when I couldn't get my link for the tent coupon to open and the other two times when I couldn't get the level three pirate coupon link to open (two diff. accounts). I have never heard anything back.

I have written a few times. I tried to register my VMK in WDW and the cast member told me it wasn't possible, so I didn't get my Born in Park badge. When I returned home I contacted VMK and it magically appeared. But I didn't get my black ears. I have e-mailed twice since, but still no ears. I have never actually received a written e-mail response.

For the last 3 months I have been unable to enter a land for more than 2-3 seconds before VMK crashes. I've tried use contact over 34 times now, and have had no success.

I got the batch of automated e-mails, as others have reported, after the beta phase ended. I even once got an e-mail questionaire about my problem about a month ago. However, when I set forth my problem, there were no answering e-mails.

I've even tried to to IM for help while staying in my room (which doesn't cause VMK to crash) and a cast member has said they would relay my message (And with VMK's limited dictionary, it was pretty difficult to explain in an IM the problems I had been having; for example, I couldn't use a word such as "20" or "twenty" :earsboy: ). But I've had absolutely no luck.

The "24 hour turnaround" is a total joke in my opinion.

i was once told to go to disney dot com guest services and register my problems with them (i think thats called passing the buck). anyway may i suggest that you go there and report to them what an appauling service you are getting from vmk maybe they will be interested to know that no-one is being helped. or maybe they are just as bad...i get the feeling that disney, in all thier sinister glory, can not handle anything more serious than getting the wrong flavour of ice cream....another suggestion would be to continuously IM them about everything and nothing.
