Do they run true to size? Do the ones marked Slimsuits run smaller? Do they wear well?

Any advice?

Love them Jill,
They wear beautifully. They never pull up or slide down (I hate straps that do that. :lmao:). I brought a pink one 4 years ago that still has vibrant color with no pilling.
They run true to size. Very comfortable with a nice grade of material. I have 2 tankini's and 1 one piece. My Tankini has a skirt bottom that is so cute and covers up my hips nicely.
I got complimented on mines at Blizzard beach from a women who thanked me. She said after watching women "popping" out of sleezy suits it was nice to see a pretty suit that fit. LOL.

I agree with Eliza, they do wear beautifully.
I have several, and love them. I did have one that discolored and had some pilling, but I sent it back and they replaced it no questions.

I have also gotten several for the kids and again, very satisfied.

I am getting ready to order a new one myself:thumbsup2

I tried on a slimsuit and it is very tight, I imagine how a girdle would feel. [Tried it on in December, before I was pregnant.]

I usually wear a size smaller for the bottoms in LE suits but my regular size for the tops. I especially like tops that have designated cup sizes b/c those fit well and give good support.

DW bought one from a long time ago and really likes them, she had bought at least one a year since then. Differet styles colors etc., She says that they wear very well, and she ends up giving them to goodwill because they still look like new after a season of use in the pool or the beach.

I have bought several of the mens ones and I have yet to see any wear of fading.

also the nice thing about lands' end products is that they will replace it if it fails, or is not your fit etc.

I actually had a pair of the beach runner shoes that the little bungee drawstring broke, while I was at WDW! they overnight expressed a replacement pair, at no cost.

I have two LE tankinis. I've had them several years and they have held up really, really well no fading or pilling or stretching. They do run true to size.

My only issue with them is the fabric is very thick so they are actual kind of warm. Think wool as opposed to cotton. These are the suits I take when we travel but I have a couple of less expensive suits with thinner fabric that I prefer for when it's melting hot 100+ degree weather.

I think they are the perfect swimsuits. This is my last order's 3rd summer. :)

I hadn't been able to buy one in a few years because the fit was off on me. The tankini tops were just to short and they sort of flared out in all the wrong places.

I finally ordered one of the ones that comes in a Long Torso size and the difference was incredible. I am 5'7" and do not wear "tall" clothes but, well, I guess I have a long torso.

I also have 2 LE tankinis & I agree with the other people - they are made of very thick & VERY tight material - like wearing heavy shaping undergarments - BUT no complaints, they really do try to hold everything in!

I haven't ordered online but picked one up at Sears (have heard you can return one ordered online to a Sears store :confused3). I was pregnant and needed a swimsuit, and I ended up buying one about a size bigger than I normally wear. It had rue-shing (can't spell it, but it's that wrinkled look) on the sides so it would accommodate a rapidly growing belly. I really liked the weight of the material and the support it offered. I would definitely buy another one. Great quality for a swimsuit.

I am a chesty girl and I love that their suits come in "chest" sizes. I have one that I snokel in and it just keeps me in without poppage.

I find they fit me slightly smaller to size. I just go up one bra size when I'm buying the tops. The bottoms have always been true to size for me.

Thanks everyone! I just ordered 4 swimsuits, but will probably only keep the one or two I like best. They did say I could return them to the Sears store here which is convenient. I did get 25% off the whole order, plus free shipping, so I have nothing to lose by at least trying them. Especially since I won't have to pay to ship the unwanted ones back. :thumbsup2

Love Lands End bathing suits! A few years ago I found Sears has a huge selection of them. They are very flattering.

I suggest you go to Sears & try some on. That's what I did when I first started wearing Lands End suits about 5 years ago.

They are all I'll wear now. I have 1/2 dozen of their tankinis.....love them! They are so well made, & I love how they have coordinating sandals/flip-flops, cover-ups, etc.

My sister and I have bought LE suits and are very pleased with them. Great fit and great quality.

I think I may hold the record fo owning a LE suit - 16 years! Admittedly I didn't wear it a full season ever, and there were a few years I never wore it at all (lived in Germany, not many opportunities for swimming) but I still have the suit and it still looks good. Hmmm, think I'll pull it out this weekend...
