My husband & I are going to WDW from 4/14-4/24/08. We will be celebrating our 10yr wedding anniversary there (4/18). :lovestruc We honeymooned there and we wanted to go back to celebrate, along with our 8yr old daughter, 5yr old daughter and 8mo old son. Teppanyaki's was our FAVE restaurant, so we have reservations on the day of our anniversary, but at Teppan Edo's. I've been told nothing has really changed but the name, but we are a little concerned.:confused3 We don't want to have a bad experience, especially on our anniversary.

We went to Teppan last week. We really enjoyed it. However, we have a Japanese restaurant by our house that just can't be beat!

We had the Assorted Tempura for appy: it was one piece of shrimp (very good), one piece of chicken (my DD ate it), one piece of zuchini (didn't seem fresh), and what I believe was a piece of potato(it tasted good whatever it was)!

Both my DH and I had the Steak and Chicken. Very good pieces of meat with three yummy dipping sauces. The sides were just okay. Noodles, I think they were from a campbell's chicken noodle soup can! White rice. Veggies, mostly onions and zuchini. And a fair amount of fresh mushrooms. My DD had shrimp, she ate well.

The chef was wonderful, he was actually from Hawaii! And came with great personality which made the night for us! Overall, we enjoyed it.

Although we didn't eat sushi (neither my DH or I like it), we did check out the sushi bar hoping our DD would try. We like to expose her to knew taste. Anyways, eveything looked very fresh and if we ate Sushi we would have def gotten some! We heard lots of people commenting on how good the sushi was.

Happy Anniversary!

Side note: supposedly each park has different buttons, so ask for your Happy Anniversary buttons! And at most places you get a special celebration dessert too! It's like having a birthday for two!

We also have a Japanese restaurant by us that is fantastic. So we tend to compare it with all others. Can you tell me if they have the option for the different toppings that they have at other Japanese restaurants, i.e. Golden, garlic, etc.?

No they did not have options for other toppings. It was a straight forward, no frills menu.
