Has anyone done this?

No they won't

Reread. I didn't say they would - I said they could. Two entirely different things.

And if they did happen to tell you that you couldn't use it, what's the big deal? You just wouldn't use it; not like they are going to torture you, or take away your first born, or heck even throw you out of the resort.

At this point they obviously don't care, or they wouldn't allow it.

We always use our SC for breakfast or just pay OOP for breakfast.
If you check the snack list that is posted here, you will see lots of choices for breakfast.
The only time we use any a big credit for breakfast is if it is at Chef Mickeys or Crystal Palace.

You can certainly take whatever you want and use the microwave etc in the food court also.

Do you bring your own coffee pot and use it in your room?

Thanks agian!

My DH likes to make coffee in the room. I always wash out the coffee pot, then run water through it for a couple brewing cycles. After that, I wash it again. I bring pump soap anyway, because I can't stand bar soap slime. :crazy2: Make sure to put the pump soap in a Ziplock bag, in case it opens in transit.

When the Food & Fun Center was open at the Contemporary, one time we brought some sandwiches back from the Earl of Sandwich and re-heated them in their microwave.

I think it is fine! Your right using your CS for breakfast just doesn't make sense.

They could tell you that the microwave is for food that was purchased AT the food court, not your own private food.

If WDW cared about guests using the microwaves and toasters for food not purchased in their counter service locations, I am sure they would put signs next to them saying that.

Of course, I believe it's a non-issue, since it would be against Disney's guest service philosophy to quibble over the use of the microwave. I could see them throwing the cast member back into a Traditions class if they ever made a big stink about it to a guest.

But I agreed with whoever suggested using the hot water tap at the beverage station for the instant oatmeal. It's easier than the coffeemaker or microwave, IMHO.
