Just looking for some reviews and couldn't' find any on the search. Thanks.

This isn't a review, but we emailed shoreside concierge for additional info as we have this excursion booked for our sailing next month. This is what they responded with:

The included amenities at the hotel for the Melia Beach Break are: The pool, beach chairs, lunch with one beverage. There is an opportunity to rent/book the following for an additional cost: snorkel equipment, kayaks, and depending on weather conditions, a glass bottom boat tour. Additional snacks and drinks are also available for purchase. There will also be a chance for souvenir shopping.

We were on the Nov 26th to Dec 3rd cruise. We did do this excision. It was a total of 5 of us. DH, DS (17), DD (8), DD (3). I selected this one because we wanted to do a beach day (with a 3 year- not a lot of selection) and we didn't want to risk going on our own after I did a little research and of course - I trust Disney. The transportation was fine - loved the bus driver (Mr. Riely) and the tour guide was nice. At first look it was a Beautiful resort/hotel....but.... could not use the pool, the food provided was only jerk chicken and spicy rice even though most of us had kids, no drink included with lunch, wanted to charge us $15 per burger (even though the site doesn't charge their customers this), unable to swim without water shoes- tons of rocks and sharp things- a child cut their foot within the first 1/2 hour and they left, charged $5 for a can of soda, one guy ordered beers and he was supposed to get $13 back but the girl never came back with his change. We requested to go back early with 4 other families and they did drive us back at 12:30 even though it was suppose to last until 4. It was horrible experience for children because there was no where to swim... way too may rocks and sharp stuff in the sand. I didn't like the way the bathrooms had shutters that did not close completely and there were men standing outside. We all complained and disney only gave us 50% back even though they agreed that they received a lot of complaints. Total waste of time and money very disappointed in Disney. This was the one thing about this cruise that we were not happy about. Only go if you have no kids and you don't want to swim.

Our experience was pretty similar. We were a group of 4 adults. When we first arrived they told us that we did not have access to the pool. Lunch was not that great and no drink was provided (unless you wanted to pay for it). Luckily, we had brought a cooler with us from the ship. Service was otherwise fine and the tour guide was very nice. We didn't get in the water too much (was a very windy day) but when we did, we did not have any issues with rocks. When we got back to the ship, we relayed our experience to one of the concierge hosts. If we cruise to Jamaica again, we all agreed that we would rather stay on the ship and explore the port area.

Thanks for this honest review! Does not sound like something I want to waste my money on!

Just saw this updated review- we have two girls who love to swim in ocean, but don't want to risk it here. Thanks for taking time to share your experiences.

Check out Hilton Rose Hall...it seems to have good reviews and you can use the pool. They have a day pass and it'll pick you up from port 45 min after dock and take you back 2 hours prior to departure. This is what I've been looking at doing. It's not thru Disney.

My parents and MIL& FIL were on this exact excursion on the 11/26 cruise and came back to the ship early with you! they still talk about the $15 burgers! They agreed it was horrible and couldn't wait to get back to the ship. They also received 50% of their money back as well as the getaway package on Castaway which included the floats, snorkel equipment, bike rental, etc. Disney did NOT seem surprised about their complaint. I would not recommend this to anyone. I felt horrible because we were at Blue Hole that day and had an amazing day. We thought a beach day would be perfect for them but it was not good.

I would not recommend this adventure. Our host Devon was great, helpful, informative and friendly as well as our bus driver School Boy. No issue with the staff on this excursion. We went on this excursion on our Jan 21-28 2017 cruise on the Fantasy. It was a very disappointing port adventure overall. The pictures on the Disney Cruise Lines port adventures list are great but a little misleading. There is no access to the pool, or the nicer parts of the beach. We were walked basically through this lovely resort past a nice pool and the nicer parts of the beach to the end of the property. The beach here was less than what was expected for almost $US57 per adult and $41 per child. We were a group of 4 adults and 5 children. The beach was either rocky, with warnings of sea urchins in the area (so you NEED water shoes) or the other part of the beach you could not go out past your waist without encountering a giant bed of seaweed...so not really swimmable. The lunch was fine for adults, but not really for kids. Spicy jerk chicken with rice and beans and salad. One washroom/changeroom for each gender so usually had to wait to use the facilities. The bar was a nice little beachside hut but only offered one option for beer drinkers. Other adult drinks offered were fine but not inexpensive. We arrived around 1030 and by 1130 were looking at our watches hoping to leave early. I expected more from this excursion. We spoke to the Port Adventures desk when we returned to the ship, and they were not surprised by our comments. Guess we were not the first to express our disappointment. The operator of the adventure Chukka, to their credit did offer us 25% refund, but at the end of the day, it was still an overall disappointment even at only 75% of the cost. Pick a different option for your Falmouth Port Adventure.
