Has anyone done the math on DDE vs Dining Plan?

Thought I'd try to figure this out, unless someone already has. We'll be down in the Florida area for about a month this summer, and staying onsite at the AKL for a week, plus a week offsite at the Vistana. We have a string of favorite places which are "must do's" and many of them seem to land in the signature dining establishments -- i.e. Jiko, Coral Reef, Le Cellier, Artist Point or CG.

I wonder if anyone's done the math to figure out whether there's a better deal using DDE or using the MYW dining plan if you'd like to hit several of the higher end restaurants.

Since you can't be on the MYW Dining Plan when you are staying at Vistana, your best deal would probably be the DDE.

You also need to be an annual passholder (or a Florida resident) to get the DDE. Only those who book room/ticket packages can use the dining plan.

There isn't much reason for an annual passholder to book a package that includes park tickets, and all persons staying in a room must be using the same package in order to get the dining plan for everyone.

Since half your visit is offsite, I would get annual passes (or one annual pass for one party member) and join DDE.
