Has anyone dined at the San Angel in Epcot?

Have read this thread and have decided NOT to change my ADRs for it!! :cool1: I was a little skeptical and worried that not all my group will like this type of Mexican food. But with so many liking their meals, I think that it is worth a shot in August.
Does anyone have a menu or can you tell me about your favorite meal? I have already decided to have the Margaritas!!! :cool1: Thanks for your help!!! pixiedust:

I completely enjoyed it. I think the Mexico pavillion is beautiful. The tables are close together, but you do not feel crowded. The lights are very low, which really adds to the atmosphere. I suggest that you check out the menu before going there (on All Ears), because it is difficult to see. Especially, if you kids blow out the candle on the table. We enjoyed the food. I am not sure if you have been there, but there is a railing, which overlooks the River of Time attraction. We made our reservation for ten minutes after the opening of lunch, and given a table one row from the railing. If you want a railing, which is nice, but all the seats have nice views; I suggest getting one for the hour it opens. I cannot recall if it open at 11:00 am or noon. Have fun.

It's not my favorite. But SAI certainly is no slouch. VERY good atmosphere, even if you don't sit by the water. The lighting is on the dark side. So bring reading glasses or a pocket flashlight! :rotfl2:

Hijacking the thread for a moment...

When I read the title, I thought it said, "Has anyone DIED at the San Angel in Epcot?"

To which I thought, well, I've heard it's not great, but sheeeeesh.. :lmao:

Okay, I'll leave you all to post meaningful responses again.

We love the food and the atmosphere, but the service both times we were there wasn't that good. But we would still go back, because the food was that good. Not your typical taco bell, real mexican food!!!! :thumbsup2

We love it.

I can't say I'm a huge fan of Mexican food, but I eat there just for the atmosphere and service. We did not have an ADR/PS last time we went there, and we walked stright in, it seemed to be pretty empty the entire meal (and this was Spring break week) :thumbsup2
