Has anyone decorated their Magic Bands? Please show us the pictures!

I came across this thread a few days ago and have read the entire thread, I'm really impressed with the talent I've seen and can't wait to try my hand at it.

So I finished my magic band... and it spaaaarkles.

Somewhere in the last 10 pages or so someone mentioned something about E6000 not holding up. I attached rhinestones with nail polish, and they haven't budged, but I am an AP and live nearby, so my band doesn't go in the pool or get the same workout that others worn 24/7 do.

It is just my opinion, but the stickers seem not quite right for the bands. They don't seem have the same flexiibilty as the tattoos or rub ons, and sometimes look thick or crinkled.

Try adding baking soda to the super glue. It'll be hard as a rock.

Did the mod podge crack? I heard that it did and how many coats?

I'm wondering the same. Glow in the dark modge podge would be cool!

Just wanted to shout out to a Razorback fan...we live right in the thick of Hog Country, LOL!! Snow White is my fave, so I love that band, and I really like your lantern band too!!

Hubby is from NW Arkansas. Trying to give him a little piece of home now that we live in FL. Pig Sooie!!

I've finished all but one of our magic bands for our upcoming trip to the happiest place on earth! I was inspired by so many of the awesome posts on this thread! You guys are so talented. I am a pretty good copycat. Anyway, mine is Dumbo, my son is Stitch, my daughter has the Cinderella coach, and the baby girl has the Doc McStuffins friends. Our teenage friend is Olaf. My husband painted Dug the Dog from Up. All I have left is to paint Nemo and Dory on the last band for another friend coming along. They were lots of fun to do!

I am OBSESSED with the Cinderella coach one. Fantastic job on all!

I agree after seeing some with the stickers. It just doesn't have the same look.

Thank you for that! I have been speed-reading through all these posts (mostly in amazement at how creative people are) and I must have missed that about the E6000. Will try something else.

I used E6000 to attach the mickey head gem to my MB. I wore it every day of our trip Aug. 9-20 and it stayed put. It held up great.

I used brown acrylic paint (called: chocolate bar) that I happened to have on hand. I did use white nail polish for the "bite" and dots and top coat to polish it all off. I used a nail dotter tool (bought at a beauty supply shop) for the dots. Glad you like it!

I seriously considered painting a Dole Whip on my husband's! But, I was afraid it would just look like a yellow blob. lol

Love your bands! I see from your countdown me and my wild family will be at Pop the same time. Now I know we won't be the only painted/tattooed bands LOL. My MB's are back on page 132
