Has anyone decided to move to Florida?

I wouldn't even consider moving to Orlando, the high crime rate alone would put me off (it's not something most tourists see/are affected by, but the statistics speak for themselves) I love the US as a holiday destination and hope to visit many more of the states but I also like living in the UK and don't feel any urge to leave (never say never and all that, but right now i'm staying put!) I can see the attraction of emigrating but I think it can sometimes be a case of the grass not always being greener. Every country has it's problems, it's just easier to overlook or not be aware of them when you're only visiting.
