Has anyone called MS within a week of checkin and gotten a room that was waitlisted?

We would love to stay in a CCVC cabin for 2 days of our upcoming trip, but are on the waitlist, and the waitlist ends 7 days before check-in. Our trip begins in about 2 weeks. Last time I checked I could rent a cabin for cash.

Has anyone been able to get a place by calling within days of check-in?

Cash room are just for cash. Any canceled reservations less than 30 days out and their points would go into holding so if someone was going to cancel, odds are they would have done so already.

Are you also stalking the werbsite yo try to catch the nights before they hit the waitlist? Many have success with that.

They declared either 12 or 13 of the cabins for points to sell. Depending on what you believe that may be the limit of what can be booked for points. While points units can be released to cash within 60 days, I believe the reverse is more rare/harder/an accounting mess.

Stalking is how I got my Spring break trip down to four moves now instead of my original seven.
