The Disney set of doll bed, swing, etc that is in the Disney catalog. Or also the new Cinderella castle $79 at Toys R Us...I am wondering if the castle at WDW is better...

would like to know the quality of these items if you do have them!

we bought the set from disney 2 years ago and it wasnt worth it at all IMO. we returned everything except the stroller and doll. Im not sure how long it was before the stroller broke. I was highly disappointed. dh put it all together christmas eve for her and I heard him and the neighbor swearing in the garage about how poor it was made... you would put the doll in the swing and it was topple right over.. :confused3 I was so excited when I bought it too. I ended up getting her the graco jogger for her dolls and a wooden set from coscto last christmas that included a cradle, high chair and table with a tea set and its all together still and fun!

we bought the castle at WDW also that year and she loves it. so much in fact she wants the disneyland one this year. Im going to sneak out and buy it when we are up there in Dec.

My Sister bought a pooh set for DD that looks the same as the princess one. She still uses the stroller, but it collapses easily. I would not recommend the set we got.

::MickeyMo I would appreciate any opinions on the Cinderella Castle being sold in Walmart, etc.? My DD6 REALLY wants one but is it worth $100?? Thanks!! Rebecca

I'd also have to agree with you. My DD still has one of the strollers, but the high chair, swing & bed met their death shortly after Christmas morning. I would go with the Graco also. It seems to be sturdier.

Really? We have a Pooh stroller that's very sturdy. Navy blue print? Came with a baby doll?

I usually don't buy "toys" from the Disney store anymore - They are cheap, plastic, and fall apart or break very easily (snow cone maker, princess cash register, etc)

The barbies and polly pocket like things are good - Just their plastic toys are really not worth it (IMHO)

I bought the Cinderella Castle from WDW a few years ago and DD now5 loves it. She has played with it a lot. That said, I just bought the light up Sleeping Beauty Castle from WDW and Aurora broke in half in the room, a turret fell off and Malifacent's staff broke - all on the first day. The gift shop exchanged it and we didn't open this one until we got home. Well, this time, Aurora lasted 2 days before she broke in half - and she was not played with roughly. I was watching when it happened. Another turret fell off and the castle broke in half - it is still playable but has wires showing that are holding the two sides of the castle together. I e-mailed Disney last week. I don't usually complain but $70 for a toy to break so much in two days and it wasn't abused, that's a little much.
