Has anyone been to Shediac, NB? Would you work for your FOLKS?

I'm just curious if anyone here has ever visited my hometown of Shediac, New Brunswick.

I would like to hear opinion on how you liked it if you did.

My parents have asked me to move home and take over a business for them. They rent cottages to tourists and now they are buying hotel tupe rooms also.

It was not in my master plan but it would give me most of the winter off to do things like go to WDW. BUT i'm a photographer at heart but I do like the idea of being in tourism.

I really think we are going to do it.

If anyone wants to see the cottages I'll be running, go to www.shediac.com/gaudet/ and take a look. (this is not trying to drum up business because we are full for the summer) My dad is also building 14 more cottages.

Let me know if you would consider working for your folks!?!?!?

I've been there and yes I would go again. We only stayed 2 nights in the Moncton area but did the rocks, ate at a small restaurant-lots of food and so good. We did Magnetic hill and on our way to the Bridge went swimming -now that was cold(early July) Now I will admit it's a tad slower pace than Disney but we had a great time. Yes the ice cream in the Maritimes is great and we did have lots of adventures. Oh, I nearly forgot about that tidal bore.(even better in the rain) The cottages look great-sounds like a great opportunity.

I have not been there but I have heard of their big lobster festival and would love to go to that and pig out on lobster.
