I am testing at the port, but my child had Covid in early February so he is going the 90 day recovery method. For 90 day recovered, you will need to have registered your positive test (must be a monitored test) and proof of recovery letter with the Safe Passage website. Safe Passage generates a QR code that has the information for your party.
Assuming your paperwork is in order, you will not have to test at the port, so you'll skip the portion of the embarkation queue that is for testing and waiting for results.
Otherwise port arrival is the same as for everyone else. You park your car before you enter the embarkation queue. And you will not be allowed to enter the embarcation queue until your assigned port arrival time.
Here is another thread with some details about the process: https://www.disboards.com/threads/reading-on-facebook-port-of-miami-is-a-disaster.3861054/
When you enter the terminal someone will try to hand you a test kit, tell them you are 90 day recovered, they will tell you to go to the “help desk”. The help desk will check that everything is in order and they will send you past the testing area to the waiting room. When you get to the waiting room look on the far side for the entrance to the check in area. Tell them you are 90 day cleared and they will send you through to check in.
Correct. They don’t do the Covid testing until you go through security at Miami.THANK YOU!!! I'm assuming that when we pull up to the port they will direct us to go park the car 1st and take the shuttle back to DCL's terminal and then we go to the "help desk."

We sailed from Miami on February. None of us had the 90 day recovered but I can help with the logistics before. You’ll pull up to the terminal and leave your luggage with the porters. Keep your carry on(s). You’ll then drive to the parking garage, park and then take the bus back to the terminal. If it’s your port arrival time, you can go into the terminal, if not you’ll wait in a line outside until it’s your turn. As soon as you enter, they’ll scan your QR code on you port arrival for and then you’ll go through security. Next up would be where you get your testing supplies but my guess is you’ll bypass that and go to the check in area (your QR code will get scanned again to enter the check in area). Hope that helps some.
My husband did 90 day recovered for our January cruise in Miami. We didn't park a car but were dropped off via Uber. We waited in line outside until our PAT was called. We showed our QR code several times during the whole process. We went through security with our carry ons, then were directed to the testing area where they handed both of us a testing kit. We told them he was 90 day recovered and they took his test back...but didn't check anything else. He came with me to the testing area and once tested we were both sent up to the waiting area.
In the waiting room there will be several monitors where bunches of reservation numbers will pop up every 10-15 minutes or so. Next to your reservation # it will either say Terminal or Inspire Consult Area. You want it to say Terminal as that means you can proceed to the ship. We actually found out we were cleared via email from Safe Passage before our reservation # hit the monitor.

It was very surreal in the terminal where people were giving each other high fives and clapping and yelling hooray! Hopefully, with the reduction in cases people won't be so nervous in the terminal. We went during the height of Omicron.
We are cruising the Magic again in April and I am definitely not as nervous but also hoping testing will be gone by then but who know!!
