Has anybody sent their card details to DLP via email?

Hi everyone,
I received a lovely email yesterday from the DLH confirming that we could have some macarons in the room when we arrive but would have to ring to arrange payment. Today, another lovely email has arrived with a price list and payment sheet to fill in and email back to them. I'm not too sure about doing this as I'm not convinced that it's very safe! Has anybody ever paid for something in this way?

I did (reluctantly) when I ordered the 20th anniversary book. I used a credit card that I rarely use so I could easily keep track of the account online (just in case!) but there were no problems. The CM dealing with the order was really good too and when she replied with confirmation of the order I noticed she had removed the card details from my email.

Thanks very much, Ware Bears. I might use my mum's credit card and pay her back (I don't have a credit card) and then if anything goes wrong it should be easier to track down. It's only for €25 but just seems quite risky!

I have done the same when ordering merchandise from the Mail Order department in the past. It's not an ideal way of paying for things, but I've never had a problem.

what about getting a prepaid credit card? but I don't know how quick you can get one as never had one before...

So glad I asked this question! Thanks everyone, you've all put my mind at rest and I'll definitely do it now.
