If you go, assume you will NOT eat dinner. It's $50 pp and there is an optional $25 wine paring. We did the whole shebang. The wines are desert wines and are Very sweet, but very good. 6 deserts. Fun trivia with the chef. We didn't have dinner at Remy, but did do this and really enjoyed it.

I've a sweet tooth, but just can't eat 5-6 different deserts in one sitting. Last time our friends traveling with us did it and said it was great, but would not do again. FWIW.

They're AMAZING desserts. I'm not sure when they do it on the western itineraries, but on the eastern it's on Thursday afternoon (they only do it once.)

They called this a "cheesecake"

I don't recall what this is called offhand. It's about the size of a tennis ball, and they cover it with a hot raspberry sauce. I won't post other photos because I don't want to ruin the whole effect.

This is a raspberry macaroon, a Napoleon and, um, a strawberry pistachio something, all served together. AMAZING.

There was a last dessert, but they called it a surprise and I don't feel like playing spoiler. So you'll have to make do with what I posted above

It is not well advertises, and is also new as of 5/2014

Yes. It can be pre-booked. It is not well-advertised, and I think they prefer to keep it that way. Officially, it's open to something like 30 people? But ours was a group of 11, and done in a communal French Tea style rather than in small groups of 2 or 3. I actually liked it this way, it was truly a shared yet intimate experience. But I think it depends on the number of people.

The wine pairing was quite nice ($25 per person). It included a Tokaij, a Canadian ice wine and a Sauterne.

Pretty much sums it up for us as well, it was a lot of fun. Luckily we had late dining!!!

I did this on the May 10th Fantasy cruise with my friends. There were about 10 people. I love chocolate, so I was excited to try this. I don't drink wine, so didn't do that, however, my friends were not told and did not know that the wine was an additional $25, so don't be surprised about the extra cost. By the time you add tip, it is a pretty expensive hour of eating desserts.

With that said, I enjoyed it, especially since I have never eaten in Remy's and I figured this was my less expensive way to eat in there.

Would I do the Chocolate experience again? No, not for the cost. I loved the different background stories that the chef gave and the talk about the different desserts. However, I think it is great for a one time only experience.

I would say yes as a person who loves desserts!
We did in in November 2014 and loved it.
Its something different then all the usual foods.
But as a previous poster said, you probably won't need dinner that night.
