Hi,

We are in the very early stages of planning to book for another holiday sometime next year or in early '04.

Has anybody ever stayed at The Contemporary Resort, as it is a hotel that we are sort of interested in finding out more about. If you have what were the rooms/facilities/restaurants/staff like? Was it as well themed as the other WDW resorts?

Also

Since our first stay in a Universal hotel in 2001 we will always like to include it on our future visits (mainly for no-line passes!): Have any of you stayed at HRH, we have stayed at POB before, but we would like a change and HRH looks very tempting, along with RPR - anybody have any opinions/views?

Thank You if you can help,

Richard.

:D hi Richard - we stayed HRH this October and loved every minute of our two days there. This followed straight after two nights at AKL and we really thought nothing could beat that. The hotel is sooo cool (DD's words!) and the whoel stay was fantastic. The pool at HRH is the best - huge, beach with zero entry and great slide.

The atmosphere there is very relaxed for such a classy place. We had a pool view room which, to be honest probably could have had a better pool view than it did, but we were not in the actual room much.

The FOTL perk is invaluable. Also being able to walk in any of the City Walk/Hard Rock cafe restaurants and flash your card for priority seating was great.

Thoroughly recommend it to anyone visiting Universal/IOA, worth the money for FOTL priviledges alone, in our opinion, anad great pool.

Paul Dents wrote a really good report on it back in October so worth searching for that. :D

Are you still considering Marco - wish we were back there now:( ;)

Hi Annie,

Thanks for that!, we also thought that FOTL was excellent when we stayed at POBay on our last visit - it's great walking right past those long queue's!

We are still considering Marco Island, but we can't decide wether to visit there or try and save up for a 3/4 night Disney Cruise.

Thanks for the info!

Richard.
