Harry Potter & Virgin Holidays

Booked a room and flight through Virgin, with the intention of adding an Orlando FlexTicket on top after booking. I then found this on the Virgin website:

Get a head start on The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ rides and attractions at 08:30**

That is all valid from 28th May, and obviously the grand opening isn't until June 18th. I'm traveling from the 7th till 14th.

So I was just wondering if anyone else has been honoured this? Or know anymore details about this? And does it count if I book the Flex ticket separately, but still through Virgin.

People who have booked the package to arrive before 18th July are being told by Universal that they will have soft access to the area and will still have the breakfast and early access. In fact, at the moment they're saying soft access will only be for package holders, although I don't think that will hold up, but you'll still get in early. As it's soft, though, there's a chance Forbidden Journey may be down for parts of the day, but the other rides and shops etc. should be open all the time.

I believe that people can opt out of buying the tickets when purchasing the package and buy them separately (which is what some have said they have done) but you may want to check with your rep.

Thanks for your reply. Fingers crossed Virgin will let me 'add on' the Flex tickets and then they can define my booking as a package! Shame there is no solid information on this .
