Ooooo can't wait :)

I pre-ordered the last book from Tesco online and got it really cheap - hope they do the same with this one :)
Although I may have to get two, so me and DW can both read it at the same time :)

Brilliant! Another midnight queuing session for me then!

LOL - once the book is out, my son (like Alison ;) ) will buy it immediately, read it from cover to cover in one go and then long for the next book!!!

....... but then I get to read it afterwards so not too long to wait :)

Big Yippeeeee!!!
That news made my day yesterday, was having a really bad day at work, and it was like christmas had come early!! :cloud9:

Roll on 19th July!

Yes it made my Christmas, and was just the pick-me-up I needed to recover from my Post-WDW blues!!!!! Cheers JKR. :wizard:

I will be queuing up at midnight for it too....just don't know how i'll get myself home afterwards...might have to sit on the floor in WHSmiths until I've finished it :cheer2:

Has anyone else noticed how the Harry Potter series seems to be getting more and more involved with Disney? For instance, they sell Harry Potter books in UK at Epcot (which could just be due to the culture). They showed the movies on ABC a few months ago, but it was advertised on the Disney channel recently!! Do you think they will end up with the rights to it and make rides from Harry Potter?

If that happened, I would be very very happy as I could indulge two of my big hobbies in one place!!! :wizard: :cloud9: princess:

I've heard that speculation before - it would be neat if it did happen! (Though I'm not holding my breath, LOL)

we will be in wdw when the book is released!! we might get it to read on the flight home!

kac+

Just a little side note here...while in MGM this week, they started playing Harry Potter music and I got so excited. I used to tell DH that WDW needed to get the rights for HP, and then they showed the movies on ABC and ABC Family, and now they are playing the music in the parks. This is really cool to me, and I hope they eventually dare to do a ride or something...Just needed to share. ;)

Woohoo, its less than a week to go - I can't wait :Pinkbounc

Is anyone else reading Harry Potter and Order of the Phoenix again? This is the 4th time I've read it, but its got me excited for The Half Blood Prince now.

They are brilliant books Natalie. I am a bit late with reading them, mainly because every time I try to pick one of them up someone else in the family says "I was about to read that!" I have read books one and two, and am waiting to start book three. My eldest DD decided on Friday that she wanted to read all five books before the new one next Saturday, so as soon as she has finished book three I am going to pounce on it:goodvibes

I've been re-reading all 5 again (3rd/4th time) don't know if I will quite finish in time for Saturday but never mind I go on holiday to Gran Canaria a week on Saturday so more holiday reading for me!:cool1: :teeth: Funny thing is we are going to the same place we stayed when "The Order of the Pheonix" came out - I read that in 3 days. I've just started to re-read "Goblet of Fire" might get that finished for the weekend, I have busy week this week so doubt if I will get both of those read before the weekend. However I think I'd better pack some extra books this time as last time I ended up having to re-read Prisoner of Azkaban and Goblet of Fire because I ran out of books and the prices of books in Gran Canaria is ridiculous.

not read any posts, but there hasn't been as much hype for the new book...I'll probably borrow it from the libary!

just my 0.02 worth!
