We got the books in from Amazon at about 1:30pm yesterday. I finished it at 2:15 this morning. <Groan> It's going to be a LONG day at work today.

SO FUNNY! My 17 YO just dragged himself out here for a drink of water (dark circles under his eyes). My 16 YO is asleep on the sofa; the book is laying on the floor next to him. I'm dragging around this morning too -- THREE HP hangovers in one House!

Loved this one, though left me with questions and wanting more.
(I say no more, don't want to spoil)

I would have finished it last night (down to the last 100 pages about 8pm yesterday) but I had to go to someone's retirement party (how inconsiderate of them to retire on HP day!)

2) Picked it up at 9:00 a.m. Saturday at Borders.

3) Randall is done. Kevin is 3/4 of the way done as of 12:45 p.m. EDT.

Our house is in media black out. No TV News. No newspaper. No TV except Big Brother (because they have no way of talking about the book).

I guess Kevin is now in Randall black out, as I can't talk to him until he is finished!

LOL! We were in full electronic embargo at our house too. Did't take any chances for hearing any spoilers. All we did yesterday was read and stop for breaks to eat and . . . well other things.

We even stopped on the same pages (which meant that I had to wait longer to get back to the book because I read faster) so that each time we sat back down we were at the same point.

Geeeze! I am embarrassed to admit I have read none of the books and seen 1 1/2 of the movies, despite both DP and DM having this as their 'bonding' thing they do together.

I did head to a local Barnes & Noble Friday night after completely forgetting about the release party. I only wanted to pick up some magazines for a lazy Sunday afternoon, and was amazed to run into 3 radio station vans, TV people, and literally hundreds of HP fans of all ages in full regalia. It was quite a sight, even for a somewhat uninterested person like myself.

Half way through Deathly Hallows

I am on a limited computer ban this week as I don't want to be spoiled.

Just finished it this morning....by far, it blew away the others. I loved it.

We stood in line at midnight on Friday to get our copy! We just got one and are taking turns reading chapters to each other. We got through chapter 32 last night before finally going to bed, and I don't see why we won't be able to finish tonight. My voice is tired!!! I keep wanting to stop at a happy place, but there just isn't one, so I'm all antsy and really want nothing more than to leave work and go read (not that it'll get any better...).

this book....wow...that's all i can say. it was fabulous! was definitely feeling the potter hangover though. now i just feel a bit lost...what will the world do without new harry potter books?
