So I loved the 7th book! I am also a huge Harry Potter fan and thought that I would share something cool. Amazon has put up the first complete box set. Yes that's right 1-7 and it is in a locking trunk. Hope you find this as cool as I did. Preordering asap.

Personally, I don't think so. Anyone who hasn't finished the book by now, must understand that any internet forum discussion of the book will contain spoilers. It's up to them if they want to risk it.

That's just my (no so) humble opinion

Kreacher's behavior toward Harry Cracked ME UP!!! Especially after everything that happened in half-blood prince.

hell i was upset when they killed off hedwig, though i dont look it, im a big ole sap... doesn't take all that much to get me cryin..LOL

I was kinda surprised at the fact that Tonks, and Remus died after having a kid, they named Harry the godfather, and not much was said about it after that.

I was so shocked when Hedwig was killed right off the bat! And I was SOOO afraid that Hagrid wasn't going to get up at that point. And then at the end of the book too. I figured he was a goner for sure.

I kind of figured that one of the Weasleys was going to have to die, but was expecting it to be Percy, Charlie, or Bill. (And was afraid it might by Ginny). I NEVER excpected the twins to be the casualties. Although, given their nature to just charge into things, I guess it's not all that surprising.

JKR mentioned in an interview with the TODAY SHOW that Arthur was the one that got the reprieve. He was originally suppose to die in book 5 when Nagini attacked him.

So as he lived she took the live of another father in book 7.

Yeah, I saw that interview too. I was glad to hear that she'll be publishing everyone's backstories in the form of an Encyclopedia of the Wizarding World.

Well It kinda leaves it open for a whole book..which is good.. cause i do want there to be more...

Its just sad that it leaves not one of Harry's parents group of friends alive.

Yeah, but I don't expect to see the Encyclopedia for quite a few years at the very least.

I'm sure it will be multi-part..but i still think i would prefer full length books on a few of the characters

I also had several "OH YEAH" moments:
When Kretcher came rushing in at the end
When Neville went into "ninja mode" with the sword
When Molly stepped up to duel Bella

Yeah, I LOVED that Neville grew into his potential so well in this book. And it was great to see Molly in action, too; instead of being shown as constantly worrying about everyone else in the background.

I loved the fact that Molly stepped up.. it was just one of those great moments..
Can't forget about Nevill's grandmother either
