Harry Potter Merchandise.

DD loves Harry Potter.
We shall be making the WWWOHP our first stop when we arrive in April which happens to be a few days after her birthday. An idea of what is available, the quality and cost would be very helpful.
I have searched the boards but opinions are so varied and threads are a little old in most cases so thought I'd ask again in case things have changed/improved.

Expect for a serious dent in any money you have!!

My kids were amazed by the HP merchandise and most of their money was spent here.

They bought
Owl puppet - $30
Wands - $30 each
Magic notebook - $10 - $15 and it as just a notebook with the house badge on the front.

Bertie Botts every flavour beans - $10
Chocolate frog - $10

So as you can see theres plenty to pick from but boy is it expense for what it is.

We are not one for buying stuff in the shops but WWoHP has some great things to tempt you to part with your money.
We also got the Hedwig Puppet, pic below, I was gutted afterwards, I forgot my AP discount could have saved $3 + tax
We also bought choc toads/frogs?, Honeydukes sweets.

Agree with the others - the prices are quite ridiculous for what you are getting.

It was cute tho seeing the little ones dressed in gowns wearing their school ties and waving their wands about.

The themeing on the Quiddich ride is excellent - even if you don't want to ride it is well worth going in for the experience. You can opt to not ride right at the last minute. You can take your camera in if you are not riding - wish I had done this.
